Will filing a hail claim raise my insurance premium?

No. Hail damage is filed under your comprehensive coverage, which is considered an “act of nature” claim. Insurance companies do not raise your premium for comprehensive claims because the damage isn’t your fault. We’ve handled thousands of hail claims and we’ve never seen a customer’s rate go up because of one.

How long will my car be in the shop?

Most hail repairs take 3 to 7 business days, depending on the severity of the damage and your insurance company’s approval timeline. We give you an honest estimate at inspection, and you keep the free loaner the entire time we have your car.

What if my deductible is more than $1,500?

Our deductible assistance program covers up to $1,500. If your deductible is higher, we’ll walk you through your options at the inspection. Most customers still end up paying nothing or close to it, depending on the policy.

Do you do paintless dent repair, body work, or both?

Both. Our technicians are PDR-certified, which means we can remove most hail dents without repainting your car or using body filler. For damage that needs paint or body work, we partner with vetted shops that meet our standards. Either way, you deal with us, not three different vendors.

What happens if my car has paint chips or cracked glass on top of the dents?

We handle that too. American Dent Repair covers auto glass replacement and paint repair on top of the hail work. Your insurance claim usually covers everything related to the storm, and we coordinate it all under one job.

Do you really come pick up my car?

Yes. We pick up your car from your home or office, drop off a free loaner at the same time, and bring everything back when the repair is done. You don’t have to take a day off work or drive across town.

How fast can you start?

Most customers get their free inspection within 48 hours of submitting the form. After insurance approval, we can typically start the repair within a few days. The sooner you book, the sooner those dents are gone.
